Shanxi Hejin Saiao Food Co., Ltd is a large wholly owned Spanish enterprise invested by Mr Felix.Celorrio.Rubal. It mainly produces tinned vegetables such as asparagus, mushrooms and red pepper, yellow peaches , apples and so on. It’s located in Hejin city of Shanxi province, which is rich in agricultural resources. The registered capital of the company is USD600,000.00 and the total investment is around RMB10 million. The factory covers an area of 49000 square meters, with the workshops occupying 38000 square meters.
We have imported 4 advanced assemble lines for production process from Spain, and we also own the most advanced laboratory of agricultural products with an experienced and responsible QC team to manage it. Our QC team can work on the inspections of agricultural vestiges, microorganisms, heavy metals and other chemical and physical items. Our management and quality level has reached the standard of ISO, HACCP,BRC and IFS. Our products have been exported to the markets all over the world directly.
We own and manage our plantation bases in order to ensure fresh and stable raw material and food safety, and our main products include asparagus, mushrooms, sweet corn, red pepper, bean sprouts ,garlic stems, green beans, yellow peaches, apples, and so on,. Our production capacity is around 9000 tons with white asparagus occupying around 5500 tons.

Compre y Compare S.A, famous for its trade brand name Conservas Celorrio, was built up 40 years ago. It was founded by a man called Angel Celorrio. At the beginning, he just made selling door to door, from shop to shop in very little quantity. He bought canned food from small factories and put on them his name and later he took a train and went all over Spain selling them. Later on when the “ company” started growing he decided to establish a warehouse in Calahorra (La Rioja) that is very close to the province of Navarra which at that time was the centre of tinned food in Spain, concentrating 85% of the factories existing then. 14 years later his son Félix Celorrio ( the present Owner of the company) started to move quickly improving the logistic and service of just a small warehouse up to a good position in the market , introducing his brand in most of the supermarket chains at that moment in Spain, gaining a good position and name in the market.
Since then for several years the situation was more or less stable, but later the situation of factories quickly started going down, since there were too many for the market, and most of them were losing money because of bad management, low sales force, no marketing, not suitable size etc, so most of them had to be closed. Félix Celorrio, who until that moment had never run a factory , decided to change his policy, when he noticed that on one hand the quality of the product was coming down because of this factory crisis, and on the other hand he could not find enough stock for his demand. So he started establishing factories himself. From15 year ago to the present days he has establish 7 factories, which produce 90% of the own selling of the company. This policy has helped us to reach our annually output from 2 million euros 14 years ago up to 114 million euros total output last year.
Now we are in position of guaranteeing a good service, good price, and better quality to our clients.
